I wanted to capture a quiet, atmospheric mood with softer light and more muted tones. I left some ambiguity in the scene, leaving room for the viewer’s imagination to wander. The darker greens and blues help create a serene, almost misty feeling, while the pinks of the water lilies add a gentle contrast to the palette. This painting reflects my exploration of what makes certain places feel calming or reflective, and how light and shadow shape that mood.
