Tan Si Chong Temple. 2024
This is a stunning ancestral hall for the Tan Clan. My mother side of the family are Tans from fujian province and I am 5th generation Tan ancestrally. While I no longer practice or pray in a temple, this is a significant temple for me. Gleeming in the day time, it has a warm glow expressing outwards. It is located on the intersection between Magazine and Merchant Road in Singapore. It is also known as Po Chiak Keng to the hokkien’s.
